A Review: Spatial Parallelism to Enhance Processor Speed
Main Article Content
Abstract
Parallelism is the most common and very important technique for getting speedup in processors. This paper presented
a concise review on some of the existing types of parallelism and the application area of that parallelism. The quantity
of parallelism utilized in spatial parallelism depends most effective at the wide variety of independent tasks. These
days multiprocessor systems are highly in demands because multiprocessor systems provides higher performance,
lower costs and sustained productivity in real life applications. Multiprocessor systems are used in many areas such
that – petroleum exploration, medical, weather forecasting, Artificial Intelligence, expert system, sensors, military
defiance etc.
